State-Level Statistical Reports

Want to generate state-level reports from incident-report data your state enters into the U.S. Coast Guard's Boating Accident Report Database, but don't have the resources, time, or expertise to do so? 

This product, developed by NASBLA's ERAC in 2018 in partnership with the Coast Guard's Boating Safety Division, and built right into BARD-Web, allows BARD administrators and other authorized users to select filters and generate an editable Microsoft® Word document with suggested narrative, summary statistics, and detailed tables. [The manual is undergoing update in 2025.]

This package of products, developed by NASBLA's ERAC shortly after the establishment of the committee, is designed to help state boating authorities compile and explore trends in their report data with easy-to-use Excel-based templates focused on two of the major incident reporting categories--types of incidents and contributing factors.
