The following vessels must be titled and registered: • All motorized vessels. • Sailboats over eight (8) feet in length. Minimum Requirements for Title Issuance: 1. Owner's valid photo identification. 2. Completed application signed by the owner. 3. Official proof of ownership (e.g., Certificate of Title, MSO, MCO, etc.). 4. Payment of required statutory fee.
Exempt Vessels
Exemptions include: • USCG documented vessels. • Racing vessels. • Lifeboats. • Foreign vessels not used in the waters of the Territory for more than 60 consecutive days.
