On Aug. 13, 2015, the Coast Guard published a 60-day Federal Register Notice of its intent to submit an information collection request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget requesting approval of a revision of a currently-approved collection, 1625-0070 Vessel Identification System (VIS).
Before submitting the ICR, the Coast Guard invited public comment. At regulations.gov, search Docket USCG-2015-0689 to view the notice and supporting material, and any comments posted online.
