Creation of a National Registry Database of Instances of Boating Education Course Completions
NASBLA developed a pilot database which recorded the instances of successful boating education course completions. Data was collected from 14 states over a period of six months in 2008. By capturing these instances of course completion, NASBLA and the USCG can now compare the data to the accident statistics for the first time.
