Comprehensive Review of Boating Education Programs Nationwide with Recommendations for Improvements

NASBLA contracted with Mark Duda of Responsive Management to compare the effectiveness of state mandatory vs. voluntary boater education programs. This comprehensive review of boating education programs nationwide is necessary if state recreational boating safety education programs are to continue to yield a high rate of return and become even more effective at saving lives and preventing boating-related accidents. The final report is broken down into three sections: Phase IPhase II and Phase III.
